SPRING
As we all know, nothing beats a great day of spring skiing! Join hundreds of other ski enthusiasts at the annual Tuckerman's Ravine pilgrimage any weekend in late April or May for a real adventure! Watch for Moose and even the occasional bear out your window at the house. They really come alive this time of year! The whitewater created by the spring snow melt provides for some exciting river kayaking and canoeing on the Sunday River! At the house, the pool is heated as soon as weather allows. Usually early May. The playground is always open though. Make your first round of golf be right here at the Sunday River Golf club when it opens mid to late April. Other fun springtime activities in the area include hiking, biking, fishing, tennis, ATV riding, boating, amusement parks, wildlife tours, whale watching, antiquing, shopping, horseback riding, mining, miniature golf, glow in the dark bowling, laser tag... the list goes on and on.
